MINI OFFSEASON BEFORE THE BIG O

Hello Everyone...

Hope life is good to all of you out there and the stress is not playing a big factor on you...remember stress is a killer so stay clear of it as much as you can. I am trying to enjoy my offseason and not feel guilty that I am not following my rigorous routine when I am in contest prep...there is so much to life than getting on stage but in the meantime thats what I choose to do and will continue on that path until I get the red flag that its time to retire...I still think I have lots to teach and I am here for a good purpose.

In this hard economical time we have to deal with one issue or another....The rich people of this world are not face with monetary problems but I am quite certain they too have problems and as we know money cannot buy everything for sure...

Recently I added a donate button to my website, so all those fans and followers that are interested in helping me out for my upcoming Ms. Olympia, please feel free to click on the donate button and show your generosity..... as little as it is.... its still better than nothing.

I will continue with the help of my dear friend Colette Nelson who is the webmaster of my site to bring you updates every two weeks or so of my big flexing muscle.

Looking forward to my Summer here in Miami and will definitely be hitting the pool to get my tan on...

Always be true to yourself and remember to put God first, He will never steer you wrong.

Peace and love to all of you.

SPECIES NY PRO SHOW

Hello Everyone......

Hope all of you are in great health and the economical problems that we are faced with have not taken over us....May 16, 2009 in New York City was a very exciting one. I competed with 24 of the finest Athletes from across the world. The Species NY Pro show. Going into the show I was very confident as I had done my homework with the help of my dear fiance and coach Alex Ramirez I was able to bring a different look to the stage which awarded me with a 3rd place finished and a qualification for the Olympia which will be held on the weekend of September 25 and 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The turn out for the NY Pro show was a great one....I will also be making a Guest Appearance at a show in Fort Myers on May 30....After that I will take a week or so off and then start my prep for the Ms. Olympia.

I want to wish everyone all the best in their life and hope that they are coping with these economical times we are going through. Always remember God does not give you more than He knows you can handle.

With that being said......

God bless each and everyone of you.

Peace!!

2009 Arnold Classic-Ms International

Hello Everyone....

The experience once again at the Arnold Classic was a great one...I consider this show to be the best on the IFBB calendar where the athletes are treated at their best. Its a show that most of the IFBB professionals would love to receive an invitation to compete but only 14 or 15 women are chosen each year.....As usual Iris Kyle was pheonominal. I worked very hard to give my best performance but having undergone surgery on Dec 4 with four (4 )weeks to recuperate my body was not responding the way I thought it would have but having signed my contract and accepted the invitation to compete I gave it my best shot and decided I will do the show knowing that I was not at my ultimate best and I was awarded 12th place. I always go into these shows detaching myself from the outcomes such as winnings but enjoying to the fullest knowing that I have given it my all and not taken any short cuts to get there.

Instead of resting to do another show later in the year I decided that I will compete at the Species IFBB Women's Professional Bodybuilding Chanpionships in conjunction with the IFBB New York Mens Professional Bodybuilding Championships and the IFBB Men's 202 on May 16, 2009 . The venue is the Tribecca Performing Arts at BMCC, 199 Chamber Street, New York City. I am working very hard on regaining my 2005 win. So far the body is responding beautifully...I cannot tell you that I will conform to what the Judges are looking for to crown their ideal female bodybuilder but I will come in sharp, full muscle bellies and as hard as I possible can...if they choose me all good and well....if they don't so be it...I will still be happy with my accomplishment knowing that I did not take any short cuts to get there.

I hope everyone comes out and give their support to the athletes.

I want to thank everyone for being so supportive of me

Stay tune.....I will keep you posted on my progress.

God Bless each and everyone of you.

Always

RE: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

Hello Everyone:

Its a little late in coming but better late than never...I want to wish each and everyone of you a Happy, Healthy, Prosperous and fulfilling New Year!

The offseason was over as of December 6, 2008 as I started my diet for the Arnold Classic, Ms. International, scheduled for March 6, 2009 in Columbus, Ohio. Hope to see many of my fans coming out to show their support.

I made a new edition to my physique that I believe can only help my placing but I always have in my mind never to have expectations of anything but to have joy in that which gives me the ultimate thrill. In saying that I am working to bring my physique into the pleasing package that I am comfortable with for me and no one else. If the judges award me then all good and well if they don't it will still be all good and well.

I am now seven (7) weeks out from Friday, January 15 and counting down the weeks until show time.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support.

God Bless

Enjoying my offseason part 2

Hello Everyone:

I want to take this time to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support which I am always appreciative. I am continuing to enjoy my off season but still staying as lean as I possibly can so that when December comes I will already have tapped into my pre contest and kept the stress to a bare minimum.
I sent in my request for an invitation to the Arnold Classic, Ms. International but I will not know if I am granted the invitation until the third week of December. So starting December 1, I will begin my diet in the hopes of being on that stage come March , 2009 with a more improved physique and some changes for the better.

Life could not be better and as we can see a big change has come to this America....the first time in 44 yrs that a black African American has been chosen to be the President of the United States of America...This individual in my book is a very intellectual and educated man with style and charisma who sees everyone as equal and not for the color of their skin, race or creed...we must all join together in helping him to make this America a more improved one where we and all our children will feel safe and happy to be a part of.

Boy had I forgotten what a root canal felt like....... I went to the dentist to get one root canal done and ended up doing two because they were right next to each other.......what an aweful experience........the actual work was not painful but when the anethesia wore off boy thats where the pain came....it lasted for 3 days off and on and now finally on the fourth day I am back to normal...now I know not to have two done at one time....talk about me being a super woman ....LMAO.

Well Christmas is around the corner and with the economy the way it is I hope everyone still enjoy the holidays and give prayers for all the blessings that they have received and continue receiving. God is good all the time.....and all the time God is good....

Stay tune for more to come but in the meantime I leave you with love, peace, hope and prosperity.

Regards,
Rosemary

Olympia - after thoughts

Hello Everyone:

I am now finally getting time to put up a new post..... this journey of professional bodybuilding is a MUST loved for any female who gets on that stage knowing that they have done all the hard work and not get awarded for it... My Olympia showing for me was the best showing ever and although I was marked down because of the muscle I possess in such a small frame I was completely happy with my body and that's what matters to me. A mind is a very serious thing to waste and as long as the IFBB organization is not consistent with their judging criteria I will not conform to what they idea of a female bodybuilder should be.

I had a very great experience at the 2008 IFBB Olympia and for me it was a sweet yet sad moment in that Steve Stone whom is known in the bodybuilding world as the man behind the scene, who takes very good care of the athletes backstage, while in his conquest to make the show a smooth and successfully operation had a heart attack and died....that did it for me and I did not want to continue at the evening show but then I thought he would not have wanted it any other way so Alex and I spoke about it and we came to the conclusion that I would do my routine in silence out of respect for Steve....It was a very sad moment...so anyone seeing my routine pictures at the Olympia and seeing my face sad knowing that I am always full of sunshine will know why I was not smiling.

After the Olympia I did several photo shoots so stay tune for updates of more beautiful, muscular and sexy photo in the members section of my website.

I will now enjoy my couple of months offseason before I start my preparation for the Arnold Classic, Ms. International which is scheduled fo March 6 to 9, 2009.
I want to thank all of you for being so supportive and encouraging.

God Bless

Rosemary

MS OLYMPIA, SEPTEMBER 26, 2008

Hello Everyone:
It's been a while since I posted anything here and my precontest diet started nine (9) weeks ago and I am now into my final three (3) weeks before I get on that prestigious stage at the Olympia in Las Vegas, Nevada. I must say it was quite easy going into this diet as I had two (2) months to recuperate from my last two shows....the Arnold classics in March and the Species NY Pro show which was in May, 2008.

My website designer Colette Nelson has been a sweetheart as always in keeping my website up to date so you the fans can get a glimpse of my world and what is going on in it. I am very excited for the Olympia as this will be my best showing ever...I am also excited because after that I will be flying out to New York to shoot a video...some more good news...the Photographer Martin Schoeller who is the best one out there and who was so kind as to feature the professional Female Bodybuilders in a great light with an exhibition at an opening which was held in Beverly Hills at the Ace Gallery the weekend after the Arnold Classics.
From this exhibition Stern magazine of Germany will be doing a feature on some of the female bodybuilders following up with interviews, etc. which will be featured in their magazine..following that they will be a book which Martin Schoeller the photogropher put together of all the professional female bodybuilders which he will autograph and each and everyone of us will have a copy and I believe the book will be in bookstores worldwide for sale.

This has been a truly exciting year for me. I could not have done it without the guidance of God and the assistance of Alex Ramirez who is truly a Godsend and a great person He gives me 110% of himself at all times. I cannot forget to mention the moral support of my family, friends and fans.... It can only get better from here on.........

Stay tuned....be encouraged.....God bless!!!

Rosemary
